Ika-78 na Araw ng Kagitingan

As we commemorate the Day of Valor in the country, we pay tribute to the acts of heroism not just by our Filipino soldiers who valiantly fought in the battles of Bataan and Corregidor, in various anti-insurgency campaigns, but also to all Filipino people who painstakingly struggle and emerge victorious in their daily battles in life.

Indeed, true heroism manifests itself not just in conflicts, disasters or even global pandemic. In this time of national emergency, heroism among our citizens can be as simple as staying at home to save lives. Certainly, this faceless enemy can be defeated if we battle as one, help as one, pray as one and heal as one.
