EV Cops Nab 8 Most Wanted Persons and 140 other Offenders

 

Camp Kangleon, Palo, Leyte- Eight most wanted persons (MWP) and 24 other wanted persons; 8 illegal drug personalities; 55 illegal fishers; 35 illegal gamblers; and 18 illegal loggers were nabbed by EV Cops in a 12-day simultaneous police operations from December 20-31, 2019, under the flagship of POLICE BRIGADIER GENERAL FERDINAND O DIVINA.

Leyte Police Provincial Office (LPPO) nabbed 3 MWPs for Murder and Violation of PD 705.  LPPO also arrested 10 other wanted persons for Attempted Homicide, Grave Threats, Assault upon Person in Authority and Violations of PD 1602, RA 8294, RA 8550, RA 9262 and RA 10175.

Southern Leyte Police Provincial Office (SLPPO) arrested 2 other wanted persons for Qualified Theft and Robbery.

Eastern Samar Police Provincial Office (ESPPO) nabbed 1 MWP for Attempted Rape. ESPPO also arrested 3 other wanted persons for Murder and Violation of PD 1602.

Samar Police Provincial Office (SPPO) arrested 1 MWP for Murder. SPPO also arrested 2 other wanted persons for Murder and Frustrated Murder.

Northern Samar Police Provincial Office (NSPPO) nabbed 2 other wanted persons for Reckless Imprudence resulting to Homicide, Physical Injuries, and Damage to Properties.

Tacloban City Police Office (TCPO) Office arrested 2 MWPs for Rape; and Qualified Rape and 3 other wanted persons for Theft, Estafa and Violation of RA 9262.

Ormoc City Police Office (OCPO) nabbed 1 MWP for Violation of RA 7610 and 2 other wanted persons for Grave Threats and Violation of RA 9165.

Said 12 days operation also apprehended 8 illegal drug personalities and confiscated from them were 43 pieces heat-sealed plastic sachets suspected as shabu and Php 3,500.00 used as marked money. 55 illegal fishers were also arrested and confiscated from them were assorted fishes and fishing paraphernalia worth Php 5, 963, 205.00. Also, 35 illegal gamblers were arrested with Php 6, 934.00 worth of bet money, and 18 illegal loggers with different dimensions of lumber with reported worth of Php 33, 964.00.
